Theo + James “Plooi” – Rare Collector's Eyeglasses – Sculptural Belgian Design – Excellent Condition

An exceptional creation from the collaboration between Theo Eyewear and avant-garde designer James Plumb, the “Plooi” is more than a frame — it’s a work of architectural artistry. Named after the Dutch word for “fold” or “pleat,” this design celebrates controlled deformation: precision with personality.

Crafted in Belgium, this rare model features a bold matte-black front with subtle rose detailing around the lens rims, while angular red temples extend like sculpted wings. The most iconic element? The signature pleated temple tip is a geometric flourish that transforms functional eyewear into a visual manifesto.

This particular pair is pre-owned, in excellent condition, and fitted with prescription lenses (can be easily replaced by your optician). It comes with a non-original case.

Theo frames are known for being produced in very limited runs, and the “Plooi” series is particularly elusive — cherished by collectors, stylists, and lovers of high-concept eyewear.
